CURATORIAL STATEMENT: OUR FIRST EXHIBIT explores the representation of beauty as a standard that exists within different perspectives across the globe. The artists blend their expression, using unique mediums (oil, wood, dirt) and expose their own daring interpretation to provoke the stagnant construct of ideal beauty. These paintings blend and capture the idea that beauty isn’t limited; it’s infinite, a maddening puzzle of the viewers past influence. It’s a natural inclusion for SPIFF, a location proud to present the all refreshing experience of what makes someone feel beautiful.
